Acrylic Press Ons

 

You can apply them with acrylic, which will give you up to 3 weeks of wear! 

Applied with nail glue the nails will stay on for ~2weeks. If you want fancy nails just for the weekend, nail tabs will hold them for a few days. 

 

In addition to the supplies provided in the set, you will also need Kiara Sky's ACRYLIC PRIMER, All in One Powder, Acrylic Monomer, and an acrylic brush.

 

 

Make sure that the skin is intact and there is no infection. Do not apply nails onto ripped, damaged or torn nails.,

 

1 Gently push back the cuticles with the provided wooden cuticle pusher to make sure there is no skin under the tip which can cause lifting.

 

2 Lightly buff the surface of the nail to remove any shine for better adhesion. Don't over-file! Over-filing can damage the nail.

 

3 Choose the right sized Press On- tips. Make sure the tip covers your entire nail and reaches from side to side. If you are in between sizes, choose the bigger one. You can file the sides to customise it. 

 

4 Take the provided cleansing wipe and wipe the nail clean of any dust, oil and other impurities.

 

5 Now take your Kiara Sky ACRYLIC PRIMER and apply it on the nail. After this, nothing else but the acrylic should touch the nail. Let the primer air dry for 3 minutes. The primer will dry down to a shiny/wet looking finish. 

 

6 Form your acrylic bead with Kiara Sky's CLEAR Acrylic powder and monomer. Place a small bead on the inside of the press on tip. 

Take the tip and place it on the natural nail at a 45 degree angle. Slowly press it down to avoid air bubbles. Hold for 10 seconds.

Continue holding the tip until it feels secure.

 

7 If needed, you can make the tip a little sturdier by adding a small bead of acrylic underneath of the tip, especially for medium and long tips.

 

8 If there is excess acrylic on the sides of the nail, you can carefully file those away.

 

9 (Optional) You can add a layer of gel top coat.
